Alex Wynd
has completed a Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree and is a registered psychologist with clinical endorsement. He has undertaken research in the areas of depression, headaches, and epilepsy.
Alex has a special interest in the treatment of depression. A 10-session cognitive behaviour therapy individual program for depression is available to clients. He also treats a range of other issues including anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, alcohol and other drug use disorders, general life issues and stress.
Alex Wynd has a special interest in treating older adults. He also provides diagnostic assessments for adult mental health disorders, ADHD assessments and reports for individuals wishing to apply for the Disability Support Pension (DSP). Alex sees clients on the NDIS – Self Managed or Plan Managed.
Alex primarily utilises disorder specific cognitive behavioural interventions, as well as a diverse range of other interventions and skills.
Alex sees clients who are 18 years and older and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
