Nicky Higgo

is a registered psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Nicky has experience working in various settings, including community mental health, primary schools, and private practice.

She believes building a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship is fundamental for successful therapeutic outcomes.

Nicky Higgo uses psychoeducation to help individuals understand their situations and helps them establish and achieve their therapeutic goals. She enjoys working with children between the ages of 6-10 and adults (21+). Her areas of interest include
anxiety, stress, depression, adjustment difficulties, problem-solving, self-esteem issues, developing self-compassion, difficulties with social skills and bullying.

Nicky uses evidence-based interventions and a multimodal approach to suit each client’s needs, which may include;
Psychoeducation, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT).
