Vani Mantha

is a registered psychologist who uses a compassionate, collaborative and explorative approach to empower clients and help them reach their full potential. She holds registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Vani has worked in private practices, community health and custodial settings to treat a range of issues including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety (including perfectionism, phobias, social anxiety and panic), obsessive-compulsive disorder, self-esteem issues, life transitions, grief and loss, interpersonal/relationship difficulties (communication, boundary violations, separation and expectations), stress and challenges with identity.

Vani utilises a biopsychosocial framework coupled with a range of evidence-based and client-centred approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, attachment therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, positive psychology and schema-informed therapy to achieve positive client outcomes. She is also trained in psychological first aid.

Vani provides face-to-face appointments but is also passionate about providing access to individuals living in rural and remote locations via telehealth consultations.
